Drafting / Design
I started drafting in early high school and continued it well into college. While drafting wasn’t the degree I chose to pursue, it is still a skill I treasure and use near daily. From 3D printing CAD models to T-square drawing in my pocket journal, my life is still full of a wonderful influence of geometries and dimensions. I’ve been lucky enough over the years to consult on some contract work, even with designing some parts of factory machinery, and even gotten to take part in some drafting competitions over the years.
Along with T-Square drawing, I am familiar with most of the standard drafting programs including: AutoCAD, Fusion360, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Inventor, Rhino, and TinkerCAD.
